Absolutely!  Our goal at The Doctor Recommended is first and foremost to reduce patient confusion.  If, for whatever reason, you cannot receive compensation for work outside of direct patient care but still want to set up a site of products you genuinely believe your patients would benefit from, simply click the "Non-Affiliate" option when signing up!

Do you use any distributors other than Amazon?

We work exclusively with the Amazon Affiliate Program to provide affiliate links for listed products.  Amazon represents the largest online market platform, therefore, using their links provides patients with the easiest access to recommended products.

Why are there no prices listed by the products on my Affiliate Link Website?

We generate links between your Affiliate Link Website and Amazon, however, Amazon sets the product prices and can change them at will.

Setting up an Affiliate Link or Non-Affiliate Link website is free!  Once we confirm you are a registered provider through our sign up process you can start recommending products to your patients!

When will my Affiliate Link Website be available?

After signing up for The Doctor Recommended, you will be directed to your account to fill out your credentials and NPI as well as your practice information including practice name, address, and telephone number.  Once we confirm your identity, you will receive an Amazon Associates Tracking ID in your profile after which your can start recommending products on your website.  The confirmation process can take up to 24 hours before you'll gain access to our Chrome Plugin.

Recommended products listed on your site can take up to 72 hours for the affiliate link to become active.

When will my Affiliate Link Website start generating profits?

That depends on your patient usage.  Given most affiliate commissions for health related products range from 1-4% of the sale product price, it can take some time before you see your revenue.

Per the Amazon Affiliate Program:
“We will pay Standard Commission Income and Special Commission Income in the default currency for an Amazon Site approximately 60 days following the end of each calendar month in which they were earned."

Therefore, based on your performance 2 months prior we will send you a check and report on product sales.  For example, in March you will receive a check and product sales report based on your performance in January.

How will I receive payment for products sold?

At the end of each month The Doctor Recommended will distribute earnings to any account holders with more than $50 in their account.  Payments are received through email with PayPal.
